This is the last of a five-part series of lighthearted, hour-long lecture/recitals on new music for solo voice and solo piano. Join Janice and Barbara as they explore the issues around taking a new work from the page to the stage, focusing this time on the music of Toronto composer James Rolfe. Janice will be performing James' pirate opera, and Barbara will be playing a brand new piece by James for solo piano.

There are other projects hatching, too! Stay tuned for more details about a recital with cellist Norm Adams, as well as another presentation of Barbara's entire Variations project.
